How To Be A Mentor

1)  Write down your story about a part of your life that was meaningful to you.
2)  Send it to us and we'll post it.
3)  Any comments or questions that come in from people that want to be mentored can be responded to by you.
4)  You decide how much you are able to give.

The inspiration for this blog came after reading Sir Ken Robinson's book " The Element".  He stresses the importance of mentors in people's lives and suggests mentors serve at least four key roles: "They recognise our talents, they encourage, they facilitate and they stretch us".

This is a theme in other motivators' life stories. For example Jack Canfield in his book "The Success Principles" says "why not take advantage of all the wisdom and experience that exists by finding a mentor who has already been down the road you are travelling".

It seems to me that there are lots of ordinary people who have done extraordinary things within the context of their own lives. And it would be great to tap into these resources and help each other. Some of us would be mentors and some would be the mentored.

We have a lot to give each other.

We want to connect mentor with mentee.

We look forward to reading your stories.
